The cabin
This is the only a-frame on Stoner Lake! Very charming yet modern lakefront property offering privacy and picturesque getaway. The home features 2 bedrooms and a sleeper sofa, one full bathroom, and a fully-stocked kitchen for cooking all your favorite meals. The wifi at the cabin is strong and could offer a working vacation on the lake during the week. There are puzzles, board games, and yoga mats available for your use.
Outdoor paradise
The property offers 120 ft of lakefront access and views, two outdoor fire pits and plenty of Adirondacks chairs for everyone. We have two kayaks available for you to use on the lake! You will be 15 minutes from restaurants, the Nick Stoner Golf Course, skiing, snowmobiling, hiking and biking trails. Clear skies will offer the ultimate star-gazing opportunities.
Saratoga A-Frame Highlights
The cabin
Newly renovated and just minutes from downtown Saratoga Springs, this a-frame is our most elevated retreat – a full refresh, top to bottom, with the character of the original frame intact. The main bedroom is anchored by a queen bed, a second bedroom holds two twins, and a library loft sleeps two more on futons, with a desk under the eaves that makes an ideal spot to work. Strong wifi throughout means a long weekend can easily stretch into a full week by the lake. The brand-new kitchen is fully equipped for real cooking, with a Keurig for slow mornings and an island with barstools where everyone tends to gather. One full bathroom serves the home.
Lake days, Saratoga nights
Outside, a fire pit ringed with chairs anchors the yard, and new sofas under a pergola strung with lights make evenings the best part of the day. The lake is a short walk from the door and open to our guests — and it's a rare one. No gas motors are permitted on Galway Lake, so mornings stay glassy and quiet: kayaks, canoes, paddleboards and sailboats only. Twenty minutes east, Saratoga Springs delivers one of the Northeast's great summers — thoroughbred racing at the historic Saratoga Race Course, ballet and orchestra at SPAC, and mineral springs and trails in Saratoga Spa State Park, plus Broadway's restaurants and shops. Skiing is close at hand in winter, with the southern Adirondacks just up the road. And clear nights here deliver serious stargazing.
